Time for Spelling, Book 5 is the sixth in a series of seven books written to help reinforce many of the concepts, skills and understanding needed for today’s school curriculum.
The series is designed as a user friendly resource to improve a student’s reading skills, knowledge of grammar, accuracy in spelling and improved word knowledge through word building activities.
The book contains 32 units of work and one unit can be attempted each week. Each unit addresses the subjects outlined above and covers topics in today’s environment which are relevant to the new Australian Curriculum for English.
As the child gains a better knowledge of language; reading, interpreting and responding to the written text develops and improves. Knowledge of grammar, punctuation and the skills to be a good speller are acquired by completing the set activities in each unit.
