Time for Homework Book 4 is the fifth in a series of seven books written to help reinforce many of the concepts, skills and understanding needed for today’s school curriculum.
The series is designed as a user-friendly resource to improve a student’s reading skills, knowledge of grammar, accuracy in spelling and improved word knowledge through word building activities. Questions covering the New Mathematics Curriculum complete each unit.
The book contains 30 units of work and one unit can be attempted each week. Each unit addresses the subjects outlined above and covers topics in today’s environment which are relevant to the new Australian Curriculum for English and Mathematics.
As the child gains a better knowledge of language; reading, interpreting and responding to the written text develops and improves. Knowledge of grammar, punctuation and spelling, as well as mathematics is acquired by completing the set activities.
While Time for Homework treats many of the topics presented in the school curriculum, it is a summary only of those subjects. This book is fun to use at home, with the child, as a resource, to develop and improve learning.
